PIYO (Pilates yoga fusion)
A 70 min class blending elements of Pilates, yoga, active flexibility, balance, and more. Actively lengthen your range of motion, activate the backside of your body and improve your posture, work on your core, glutes, hips, stability, and leave feeling renewed, fresh, and open!
Explore your limits and discover new levels of flexibility you never knew you had! Hips, hamstrings and splits, shoulder flexibility, advanced backbending drills and skills.
We use a variety of flexibility methods for safe and effective gains! active flexibility, dynamic stretching, static stretching, contract-relax stretching (also called PNF, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation) and more!
Prerequisites: comfortably hold a wheel/bridge for 30 seconds, hold a handstand and forearm stand against a wall.
